Audiences help you group customers and contacts by what they need, what they did, or what you want to send next.

Define the Audience

  1. Open Audience from the customer or journey area.
  2. Choose the customer properties, activity, or list source that should qualify someone.
  3. Name the Audience in plain language so your team understands who belongs in it.

Use the Audience

  1. Preview the members before using the Audience in a campaign or workflow.
  2. Attach the Audience to a newsletter, journey, or follow-up task.
  3. Check the Audience after major imports or campaign launches.

Good to know

  • Use Audiences for business intent, not only demographics.
  • Small, specific Audiences usually perform better than broad lists.
