Configure webinar video and replay

Product media placeholder

Replace this area with a screenshot or short walkthrough video during the media sweep.

Video is the core of most webinars, and replay settings determine whether attendees can return after registration or after a scheduled session. Configure both carefully so registration, reminders, the webinar room, and post-webinar follow-up all point to the right experience.

What this guide helps you do

  • Attach or confirm the webinar video and duration.
  • Set replay or on-demand availability for registered attendees.
  • Review video access from an attendee-like view before sharing the webinar.

Before you start

  • Prepare the final video file or stable video link.
  • Know whether the webinar should be live later, on-demand now, replay-only after a session, or unavailable until launch.
  • Confirm expected video duration so timed polls, links, and calls to action appear at the right moments.
  • Decide whether attendees should see a download notice, registered-access notice, or replay expiration.

Do it manually

  1. Open the webinar and find video or replay settings.
  2. Upload or select the webinar video, or mark that video will be added later if the page must launch before the recording is ready.
  3. Set video duration, cover image, replay availability, and attendee access rules.
  4. Add or review timed interactions so they appear inside the video duration.
  5. Preview the registration page and attendee room from a test attendee path.
  6. After publishing, recheck replay availability from the attendee dashboard when schedules or replay settings change.

Ask Faster AI

  • Review this webinar video setup for missing duration, replay settings, attendee access, cover image, and timed interactions.
  • Create a replay plan for this webinar, including who can watch, when replay opens, and what follow-up message should say.
  • Check whether these timed interactions fit inside the video duration and suggest better moments for polls or calls to action.

Review before attendees use it

  • Confirm the video plays in the attendee room, not only inside the admin preview.
  • Check that replay availability matches what the registration page and follow-up messages promise.
  • Do not share private media links directly when the webinar should require registration.
  • Review video title, cover image, presenter details, and call to action before launch.

Common issues and fixes

  • If video does not play, check the source file or link, access mode, and whether the attendee is registered.
  • If interactions appear too early or too late, correct the video duration and interaction timing.
  • If replay is missing from the attendee dashboard, review schedule status, replay settings, and attendee registration.

Placeholder media

  • Screenshot placeholder: add an annotated screenshot of configure webinar video and replay with attendee names, emails, payment details, private questions, and unpublished webinar content blurred.
  • Video placeholder: add a short walkthrough that shows the manual webinar path, then shows how to ask Faster AI for the same setup or review before attendees can register.
