Customer 360 helps you see Money context beside conversations, tasks, notes, and plugin history. Use it before contacting a customer about payment, refunds, checkout, or account questions.
What this guide helps you do
- Review open invoices, paid invoices, credits, refunds, and pay-now activity for one customer.
- Connect Money activity to customer notes, tasks, inbox messages, and follow-up.
- Ask AI for a summary without exposing private identifiers or taking an action automatically.
Before you start
- Open the correct customer record and check for duplicates.
- Know whether the customer question is about an invoice, checkout, order, booking, webinar, refund, or credit.
- Have permission to view Money details for the workspace.
Do it manually
- Open Customers and find the customer record.
- Review the Money panel or money-related activity on the customer timeline.
- Open invoices or checkout activity that need closer review.
- Check balances, payment state, portal links, refunds, credits, and recent timestamps.
- Create a task, note, or customer message only after verifying the Money record.
- Return to Money when you need document-level actions such as send, collect, credit, refund, or approval.
Ask Faster AI
- Summarize this customer money history and list what I should verify before replying.
- Find open invoices and recent checkout payments for this customer and suggest safe next actions.
- Draft an internal follow-up task for this customer payment question, but do not send a message.
Review before saving, sending, paying, or refunding
- Confirm the activity belongs to the same customer, email, or company relationship.
- Do not promise refunds, access changes, or payment status until the Money record confirms it.
- Keep private payment references and internal notes out of customer-facing messages.
Common issues and fixes
- If history looks incomplete, check duplicate customer records and related company records.
- If checkout activity is separate from invoices, review the related plugin or order context.
- If a customer says they paid but Money does not show it, collect receipt details and investigate before sending another reminder.
Quote follow-up playbook
For how customer-level Money history helps decide whether to follow up, remind, revise, or invoice, read the quote follow-up article. The Follow-Up Playbook: Turning Quotes into Paid Invoices.
Refunds and credit policy
For why refunds, credits, and adjustments should stay visible in customer money history instead of living in memory or side notes, read the refunds and credits article. Refunds, Credit Notes, and Adjustments Without the Awkwardness.
