What this guide helps you do

  • Connect a mailbox identity.
  • Verify DNS or provider authorization when required.
  • Use the mailbox for customer inbox and follow-up workflows.

Before you start

  • Choose the email address or domain you want customers to see.
  • Have access to the mailbox provider or DNS records for custom sender verification.
  • Decide whether this identity is for customer replies, campaigns, notifications, or all of them.

Do it manually

  1. Open Settings and go to Mailbox or Integrations.
  2. Add a new identity or mailbox.
  3. Choose Gmail, Outlook, or custom sender setup as appropriate.
  4. Complete provider authorization or add DNS records shown by Faster.
  5. Wait for verification and check sync health.
  6. Use the verified mailbox in customer inbox, campaigns, or notification settings.

Ask Faster AI

  • Create a mailbox setup checklist for customer inbox, campaigns, and notifications.
  • Help me decide which sender address should be used for customer replies.
  • Review my mailbox setup status and tell me what is still pending.

Review before saving or publishing

  • Do not paste mailbox passwords, OAuth codes, or recovery codes into chat.
  • Use shared business mailboxes for team workflows when appropriate.
  • Confirm reply-to and sender name before sending customer-facing messages.

Common issues and fixes

  • If verification is pending, check the DNS records or provider authorization.
  • If sync health needs reconnect, reconnect the provider from the mailbox row.
  • If a campaign cannot use a mailbox, confirm the identity is verified.

Use it in daily operations

  • Write down which workspace setting changed, who approved it, and which public page, sender, integration, role, or analytics view should be checked afterward.
  • When a setting affects customers, emails, payments, domains, or public URLs, test the visible workflow before treating the configuration as done.
  • Ask Faster AI to prepare the review checklist, but keep credentials, payment details, and sensitive customer data out of prompts and screenshots.
